Accessibility Statement — ScamLens

Last updated: 2026-04-16

Commitment

ScamLens is designed for people of all abilities. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across all user-facing surfaces, aligning with U.S. Section 508 and EU EN 301 549 V3.2.1 procurement standards.

Current status

  • Semantic HTML: headings, landmarks, and form labels use native tags.
  • Keyboard navigation: every interactive element is reachable via Tab and operable without a pointer.
  • Color contrast: body text targets ≥ 4.5:1; large text ≥ 3:1.
  • Alternative text: informative images have descriptive alt; decorative images use empty alt.
  • Language metadata: all 12 language variants declare lang and dir correctly.
  • Responsive: content remains readable at 200% zoom without horizontal scroll on content pages.

Known gaps (being addressed)

  • Some admin dashboards use micro-font sizes (< 12 px) for information density — addressed in the commercial UX refactor.
  • Complex data tables pending enhanced screen-reader summaries.
  • Motion-reduce preference not yet honored in all animated components.

Documentation (VPAT)

A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) aligned with WCAG 2.2 / Section 508 / EN 301 549 is under preparation and will be linked here once published. For public-sector procurement, email [email protected] to request the current draft.
