Corrections Policy

2026-04-01

Because scam investigations can change quickly, some pages may need correction or clarification after publication. ScamLens accepts good-faith correction requests and aims to update material errors promptly.

When we correct

We correct material factual errors, outdated reporting instructions, broken official links, and misleading descriptions that could affect user decisions.

We also clarify pages when new evidence changes the risk picture or narrows what can be said responsibly.

How to request a correction

Send the page URL, the specific statement you believe is wrong, and supporting evidence to [email protected].

Requests that include official records, screenshots, or reproducible evidence are easier to review quickly.

How updates appear

When a correction is accepted, we update the relevant page content and refresh the published or reviewed date where appropriate.

Minor wording fixes may be made without a separate correction notice if they do not change the substance of the page.

Urgent safety issues

If a page contains an error that could increase immediate financial or account risk, we prioritize it ahead of routine content work.

Users should still contact banks, platforms, exchanges, or authorities directly when money, identity, or access is at stake.
